The Town of Wyoming’s two governing bodies are the Town Board and the Planning Commission. Both work to ensure the provision of town services and adhere to the Comprehensive Plan, which is a 10-year roadmap for how the Town anticipates its future. Town Services
Cemeteries
The Town of Wyoming operates two cemeteries within the boundaries of the Town: Old Helena Cemetery and Wyoming Cemetery (aka Fann’s Hill Cemetery). The cemeteries are operated in accordance with Chapters 157, 440, and Subchapter VIII, Sec. 440.90, of the Wisconsin State Statutes.
Burial lots are available to all Town of Wyoming residents and related family members, and former Town of Wyoming residents and related family members;
There is a charge of $200 for one cemetery burial lot;
Green burials in designated areas incur an additional charge of $100 per burial lot to cover the additional maintenance expense of the cemetery grounds.

Town Dump
Located at 6294 Route 23, the Town of Wyoming Dump is open to residents on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm. Recyclables accepted.

Fire and EMS coverage map
The Town of Wyoming (parts 930 and of 924 on the map) is served by two fire districts, Spring Green and Dodgeville. In case of emergency, continue to call 911. This map is only to let you know which fire department serves your address. For non-emergency questions and information, residents may call the appropriate fire department.
